-The slider is slightly thinner than the ring. I can provide a video of the slider if you'd like, but Etsy only allows for one video upload.
-The core for the rings and sliders are Zamak, which is a nickel-free metal alloy (Zinc, Magnesium, Aluminum, Copper).
-The type of plating used is called Electroplating

Will the plating come off?
Yes! Everything that is plated that will be washed will have the plating fade. However, I've had these rings and sliders in my bras for a few years now and I haven't noticed the plating coming off.
